Queen Victoria

The stained glass in this window is Victorian. While here, look up to the ceiling of the nave and note the fine woodwork.

Arranged by Margaret Gilbert Sponsor: Valerie Campbell

Music: Minstrels and Organ

At one time there was a gallery at the west end of the nave where musicians played. Then came a pipe organ, replaced in 1974 by the first of two electronic organs. The west wall and bell turret were rebuilt in 1892 and the alcove marks the position of a much earlier west door into the nave.

Arranged by Val Pressley Sponsor: Helen Filtness

The 21st Century glass featuring the River of the Water of Life [Revelation 22, verse 1] was dedicated in 2000 and is set in one of the original Norman window spaces in the nave.
